A Bit About Me

Beginnings and Background:

I've been creating art all my life but my journey into tattooing began in 2007. An in-depth apprenticeship set the foundation, and from there, my passion for the craft only grew. I've worked in multiple tattoo shops in Austin. In 2012 my wife Tita Jewels and I opened Little Pricks Tattoo. Since its inception in 2012, our studio has flourished, becoming a trusted staple in both Austin and the broader tattoo community.

Heart & Craft:

Tattooing is more than just a craft—it's an evolving art form. While I deeply respect the timelessness of traditional and geometric designs, I'm not one to remain anchored. I've recently ventured into the detailed worlds of fantasy / medieval themes, the vibrant and dynamic visuals of video games, the colorful depictions of anime, and the complexity of geometric design. One of my goals is to refresh and diversify my portfolio for my clientele constantly.

Safety & Hygiene:

Your safety is as crucial to me as the art I create. With extensive training in critical areas, including blood-borne pathogens and cross-contamination prevention, every tattoo session upholds the pinnacle of hygiene and care. You can have peace of mind knowing I always use brand-new equipment for each appointment.

Spotlights & Accolades:

Throughout my career, my work has received recognition on various public platforms, a fact that continues to humble and surprise me. This includes features in notable publications like "Skin Deep Magazine," "Tattoo Magazine" and my appearance on the TV series "Best Ink - Season 1" on Oxygen. Receiving accolades and trophies at tattoo events and tattoo conventions at the Star of Texas tattoo convention and the Dallas Tattoo Expo serves as a testament to my unwavering passion and dedication to the craft.
